WCA2010 -The real attraction

This what actually caught my eyes other than normal-item-paintball booth inside the WCA expo village.... at the Road To World Cup Asia 2011 promo booth....

I notice something familiar....

Hell yeah! It's our last year WCA appearance.... and they got us in the 2011 WCA promotion ad, and top of all its says... "Where legend begins".

'Legend remains victorious in spite of history'.

From this ad 'legend line-up', started left were Aznan 'Tinker', Rxa 'Krawler', Nina 'Mizz Nina', Atras 'Maq7' & Anas 'X-men'... Doing our breakout pose- possibly in the final round of Div3 where we lost to SSC Killer. Its also a debut in our new commemorative jersey after our MPOC Div3 Champ.

Hope, this will mark our WCA COMEBACK... Huurahh!

World Cup Asia vs Pre-Asia Cup

2009 has been Oscar debut + best moment in World Cup Asia. Crowned as 2009 Division 3 Overall Champ, Oscar got a WCA registration waive and at the end manage to clinched our 1st international medal by being 1st runner up for div3. Lost only to SSC Killer from Sarawak in our most controversial final (where most of spectator saw what really happen), we promise to bring back another medal this year as we step into upper division...

But that's not gonna happen...

With only 2 leg into MPOC 2010, there's no way Oscar gonna repeat their success stories as same as last year.... Beside financial, Oscar seems struggling in getting the best line-up for this year WCA. This where Raptorian fit-in. 3 weeks after Raptor early exit in NPL 2010 Grand Finale, both teams agreed to participate for 2010 last tourney with minimal cost- but not WCA. Its will be the Pre-Asia Cup.

RM450 for Open Div registration plus RM150 per box of pallet- what more can you ask for lower cost tourney....with a prize package that still interesting to be won. So it's not hard to decide Pre-Asia as Oscar+Raptor last tourney for 2010. But, its happen to be the same date with WCA. For teams that already register for WCA maybe mix-up by Pre-Asia Cup had offer... But still not a smart move for Pre Asia to compete with WCA as most of paintball team had concentrate for WCA... But the on the positive side- good for experimental team that want to try new tactic & line-up for next year. and that's our intention thou...

WCA 09 - Last but not lease

It’s been a month after fighting for our lives in WCA 09, and hopefully its not too late for us to thanks for all the sponsors & supporters throughout this WCA...

A BIG special thanks for the main sponsors - HMD Automobile Sdn Bhd of Labuan & Oscar's own player Zach' Zick' Zikry for their generous contribution.... Surely it was THE morale support Oscar needed to get all-out until the final. Thank you for giving us a change to show something.

Special mention to Mr Ken from Esunyong Construction for his trust in our performance which help a lot in the second day match.

Maslia Ismail , our special guest player & Mr Shameen of Angel Paintballsport Asia- you both had keep Oscar’s momentum steady straight to the final (pancit sket2 tetap ada…)Mr Shameen had been the best tech. person every other team dream off.... and that why most of us shoot ANGELS.....

To Edi ‘Eye Off’- Thanks for every tip in making sure Rxa in tip-top condition…. and to all teams that contribute or sales their pallets in our knock-out round -Nemesis Legion, Pinoy team, Iranian team….etc. etc.. Thank you very much for your kindness…
