WCA2010 -The real attraction

This what actually caught my eyes other than normal-item-paintball booth inside the WCA expo village.... at the Road To World Cup Asia 2011 promo booth....

I notice something familiar....

Hell yeah! It's our last year WCA appearance.... and they got us in the 2011 WCA promotion ad, and top of all its says... "Where legend begins".

'Legend remains victorious in spite of history'.

From this ad 'legend line-up', started left were Aznan 'Tinker', Rxa 'Krawler', Nina 'Mizz Nina', Atras 'Maq7' & Anas 'X-men'... Doing our breakout pose- possibly in the final round of Div3 where we lost to SSC Killer. Its also a debut in our new commemorative jersey after our MPOC Div3 Champ.

Hope, this will mark our WCA COMEBACK... Huurahh!

There goes our last tourney...

PRE-ASIA CUP 2011; OPEN DIVISION

CANCELLED

Just 48 hour before tourney... Raptoscar being called by Asia Cup officiate about cancellation of Open Division because of low participation. Even it's not a shocking news- because of clashing date with WCA 2010. But the cancellation had disappointed most of the player, despite the fact that some had commit and put some effort into this last tourney....

This will be another good example, when an organizer refusal to acknowledge others prominent tourney date and still offering their services to this small paintball community.... in the end, team who had decide what is best for their team will be the most effected- a victim.

still looking foward for Asia Cup 2011- but if it's not MPOC 1st leg in our mind la...

World Cup Asia vs Pre-Asia Cup

2009 has been Oscar debut + best moment in World Cup Asia. Crowned as 2009 Division 3 Overall Champ, Oscar got a WCA registration waive and at the end manage to clinched our 1st international medal by being 1st runner up for div3. Lost only to SSC Killer from Sarawak in our most controversial final (where most of spectator saw what really happen), we promise to bring back another medal this year as we step into upper division...

But that's not gonna happen...

With only 2 leg into MPOC 2010, there's no way Oscar gonna repeat their success stories as same as last year.... Beside financial, Oscar seems struggling in getting the best line-up for this year WCA. This where Raptorian fit-in. 3 weeks after Raptor early exit in NPL 2010 Grand Finale, both teams agreed to participate for 2010 last tourney with minimal cost- but not WCA. Its will be the Pre-Asia Cup.

RM450 for Open Div registration plus RM150 per box of pallet- what more can you ask for lower cost tourney....with a prize package that still interesting to be won. So it's not hard to decide Pre-Asia as Oscar+Raptor last tourney for 2010. But, its happen to be the same date with WCA. For teams that already register for WCA maybe mix-up by Pre-Asia Cup had offer... But still not a smart move for Pre Asia to compete with WCA as most of paintball team had concentrate for WCA... But the on the positive side- good for experimental team that want to try new tactic & line-up for next year. and that's our intention thou...

Last tourney for 2010...

OSCAR VALKYRIE+TEAM RAPTOR
=experimental tourney

may sound klise, but it maybe the not-so-official merge of both teams for next year project.
Its- Raptoscar for this Pre Asia Cup 2011. Differ from what Oscar had planned before (eg. ISSC) in getting 'guest player' to fill in the roster- Raptoscar only consist among Raptorian & Oscar Comrade that actively played together. Few of Oscar Comrade had guested for Raptor's NPL team... & few Raptor's had been in Oscar's MPOC & ISSC line-up this year along....

Its will be an experiment for both teams in term of tactics & strategies in our preparation for 2011...

I just can't wait for our new battle-cry before 10 sec warning...
